. Rain’s Embrace

by Aaron Gookin Published: September 11, 2025

The rain arrives with gentle grace,
Kissing the earth, a cool embrace.
Each droplet hums a lullaby,
A song beneath the weary sky.

The windows blur, the silence grows,
The river swells, the garden glows.
Children laugh in muddy streams,
The world is softer than it seems.

In every drop, a secret flows,
Of ancient tides the ocean knows.
The storm may roar, the thunder cry,
Yet peace is found where raindrops lie.
Oh weary soul, release your pace,
And rest within the rain’s embrace.
We respect your privacy.
